How to Hire OnlyFans Chatters: The Complete 2026 Guide
After hiring 180+ chatters in 28 months, here is the playbook we wish someone had handed us in 2022.

Hiring an OnlyFans chatter is a sales hire dressed up as a typing hire. Treat it like the latter and you’ll cap at 4–6% PPV conversion. Treat it like the former — sourcing, screening, training, paying and managing like you would a remote sales rep — and you can land closers who personally generate $40K+/month in PPV revenue for a single creator. This guide is the playbook we use internally at Bunny Chatting to hire and onboard new chatters, refined over 180+ hires in 28 months.
What an OnlyFans chatter actually does
An OnlyFans chatter is a remote sales rep working inside a creator’s direct messages. The job is not "type fast and be flirty." The job is: reply to fans in the creator’s voice, segment whales from casuals, sell PPV content at the right price at the right time, retain subscribers who are about to churn, and report on revenue.
A good chatter is a closer. The top 10% of chatters in our network personally generate $25K–$60K/month in PPV revenue for a single creator. The bottom 10% generate under $4K. The difference is not typing speed.
Where to source OnlyFans chatters
Six channels work consistently in 2026: (1) niche remote-sales job boards, (2) referrals from existing chatters with a $500 bounty, (3) Reddit communities for adult industry workers, (4) Discord servers focused on creator economy, (5) tagged outreach on LinkedIn for ex-call-center workers in target time zones, and (6) partnerships with sales-skills bootcamps in offshore markets.
What does not work: generic Upwork postings, mass freelancer platforms, or anyone who applies without specifically referencing the creator’s niche. Top chatters are picky about who they work for.
Screening: the 4 filters that matter
We screen on four signals: (1) sales aptitude — a written test that simulates handling a churning whale, (2) writing voice — can they mimic a sample voice doc convincingly, (3) language fluency — for the creator’s primary language, including slang, and (4) integrity — references and a values interview about ToS handling and customer data.
Skill test → voice test → reference check → values interview. Most agencies skip 3 and 4. We don’t — it’s where most bad hires get caught.
How to pay OnlyFans chatters
Industry standard: $4–$8/hr in offshore markets, $15–$25/hr onshore, plus 0.5–2% commission on PPV revenue generated. The commission is what creates the closer mindset.
Avoid pure hourly. Pure hourly creates typists, not sellers. Avoid pure commission too — it incentivizes spam and ToS-risky behavior. The hybrid is what works long-term.
Don’t want to build a hiring pipeline yourself? Our white-label chatter recruiting program is what licensed agencies use to skip this entire chapter.
Apply now →Training: 40 hours minimum
Our internal curriculum is 40 hours of structured training before any chatter touches a real account. It covers sales psychology, OnlyFans platform mechanics, PPV pricing logic, fan segmentation, refusal handling and ToS awareness.
On top of that, every chatter spends 2 days voice-cloning to the specific creator they’ll be assigned to — reading 30 days of her real messages, role-playing with dummy fans, and getting QA-scored on their drafts.
Retention: why your chatter ladder matters
Average tenure for an OnlyFans chatter industry-wide is 6–9 months. Ours is 2.3 years. The difference is the career ladder: chatter → senior chatter → team lead → account manager, with bonuses tied to revenue lift.
Bad retention means you’re constantly retraining. Good retention compounds revenue.
